Quality management norm
This quality management norm fixes how the management of an enterprise must proceed to cause the conversion of the quality management. This norm can be used both for the conversion within an enterprise and as a proof opposite to other enterprises.
ISO 9000
The series of standards EN ISO 9000 describes the principles for the quality management. These have to be understood as principles for quality management systems which shall make the mutual understanding easier at a national and international level.
Products are subject to specific requirements which only can be produced under individual quality assurance steps. Quality management systems can independently be used by the line of business and the specific products, though. These quality management systems must be built up process-orientedly (EN ISO 9000:2000), also look for the permanent performance improvement and have to be made systematically and in a clear way.
The norm EN ISO 9001 contains requirements on a quality management system (qm-system) with which an enterprise must explain that it has the ability to produce products so that the requirements can be fulfilled by customers on a full scale and the customer satisfaction is increased with that. The norm describes a frame which one an enterprise can be more orientate itself at the customers.
