Aim

By harmonization of the state legal provisions guarantee of the free goods trade with equipment and protection systems for the use in explosive areas

Summary

This directive is applied to electrical and nonelectrical equipment and protection systems (over-days and sub-day systems) for the use as agreed in explosive areas as well as to devices outside of explosive areas which are required for the operation of equipment of inside explosive areas.

Procedure to the assessment and check of the equipment determined and protection systems are carried out by a named place; a list of these places, its identification numbers and the tasks assigned to them are published in the Official Bulletin of the European communities. Many procedures are applied into exactly defined conformity categories which reach from the individual check until internal production control.

The CE conformity identification has considerably visibly and quenchless to be attached together with the identification number of the named place on the equipment and protection systems provided that this gets working in the production supervision phase. Every other identification may be attached on the equipment and protection systems if she does not affect visibility and readability of the CE identification.

Equipment and protection systems which correspond to the regulations of this direction and are provided with the CE conformity identification can be taken to circulation on the European market. If they endanger, however, the safety of persons, domestic animals or goods, they can be pulled out of circulation.

When required Dekorsy Printec-DS Keyboard GmbH produces keyboards which fulfils the requirements of the EU directive 76/117/EWG changed by the directive 94/9/EC on a full scale.
