Printec-DS Keyboard GmbH is an innovative enterprise of plastic technology considerably ahead in respect of quality of functionality and design with switch technology and keyboards.

In co-operation with our qualified partners we develop and construct customized keyboards and key pads with highest quality.

Numerous standard elements developed by us make further development easier. Therefore it is possible to offer cheap individual solutions for our customers.

Our Principle

Dust- and splashproof fulltravel keyboards systems to meet the levels of IP65

Printec-DS Keyboard GmbH sets completely new standards in technology and flexibility to high class dust - and spray water resistant keyboards systems (protection IP65) for especially harsh environments with numerous applications. All contact points and guiding elements are completely protected. This assures safe operation without key blocking or electrical malfunctioning.

Over many years the proven concept of contact technology show:direct contact over carbon contacts to the circuit board. As a contact element silicone circuit mats are used that at the same time work as springs.

In the programme there are also silicone mat keyboards for special applications.

The common principle for all keyboard concepts is our carbon-contact technology - one-side covered or through hole plated printed circuit boards with carbon covered contact surfaces. The contact and spring elements are made from high quality silicon rubber - conductive for the contact - non-conductive as spring element. The switch elements consist of high quality plastic and can be latched without soldering in the prepared printed circuit boards. A system witch allows the easy construction of whatever keyboard configuration.
